FML

The hits keep on coming, no pun intended.

Edit:

Confirmed.

Best of luck to Hill and his recovery. Hope he comes back stronger than ever, no matter what team or league that may be with.

Time to start Bianco, Safford, Cranford and try and get that #1 pick.

I think this is what everyone kind of thought was going to be the result the moment we saw the hand flex during the game. Not sure why you are melting about it today.

You really have to feel for him right now. This isn't even the worst thing he's had to deal with in the past week.

He's going to bounce back, but damn, this sucks.

Yeah he’s late. Wish Jaden the best. Would love for his plan to get the surgery with Fields and Cory working with him on his return and pitching the second half of next year out of the pen. Would be a hell of a closer.

TJ is demoralizing. But it can be invigorating too. It’s a true reset. He won’t have elbow problems again so he just has to be really careful with the shoulder as his strength returns. It’s a long process but he has people around him to help him every step of the way. And they’ve been very successful before.

Took a long time for one of the starters to have an injury. Injuries are common with LSU baseball. Arms don't last long.

It’s an expression acronym.

Calm down.

I feel awful for Hill to be clear. Hope he recovers and has a long and productive MLB career.

Because you can’t make a visual diagnosis without an MRI and examination. Yeah, it didn’t look good. But strains do happen. I think everyone hoped for the best and feared for the worst.

Sadly this can happen to anyone throwing a baseball so not saying this is anyone’s fault but it seems like our pitchers have so many injuries/ throw slower through their years under Dunn. Can’t think of many pitchers who left as a better pitcher under Dunn than when they came in. The whole staff has to go.

It was only a matter of time
This injury goes back to fr season
They shut him down
He didn’t have to extend it last year with covid
And it finally became an issue
Similar to ginn at miss st
He will likely still get drafted with rehab with the team that drafts him with a decent signing bonus

I’ve had the numbness and tingling. It’s not painful. It’s just weird. But you know something is wrong.

Something funny: throwing a football doesnt hurt at all with a ucl tear.

Look on the bright side, at least we aren't 26-2 and losing Hill......

Obviously feel for Jaden but he will be fine. Tommy John has become much more predictable these days. They have the rehab down to a science. As previously stated, the shoulder is where there are concerns coming back and much of the rehab is designed to make sure his shoulder is in shape to handle the throwing. If he elects to do the rehab here, Robbie Bolton at Elite does a really good job and is very experienced in getting guys back from TJ. I would assume that Mark Fields will do the surgery.
