Heard a rumor that Ensminger is retiring after this year

Heard this from a friend who played ball (not football) at LSU. He just heard it. I have no idea if it is true.
Two other coaches, too, but not the one most of you ijits want to retire.

Good but if the plan, as rumored before the season, is to promote Linehan to OC and Callaway to PGC then Steve may as well stay.

I'm not even sure what Bill Johnson does. None of the dline ever mentions him in an interview and LaCouture recruits dline prospects. Also LaCouture actually shows up on the sidelines hyping guys up and offering direction.

I get that he was in a pinch when Meatball became unavailable but Johnson should have been a 5 month hire.
I think O may have trouble attracting sought after dline coaches here because they know he's going to have a lot of influence over the group. Having said that, I'd rather someone green who is trying to prove himself than a guy collecting checks so he can finish remodeling his beach house retirement home.

Bill Johnson does what he did with the Saints. Stands around on the sideline, occasionally in camera view, with a blank look on his face.
