The way I see this year is simple It could be interpreted 1 of 2 ways LSU wins out finishes 10-3 with a quality bowl win and should be thrilled with O as long as he can continue to surround himself with a strong staff and land a top recruiting class.
Losses:
Troy- early growing pains, lack of leadership and so on. In all honesty should’ve been a win and sucks to think we could be going for 11 but that’s what you have to deal with going through a hc change
Miss st - very good team, out schemed us out played us no excuses granted we aren’t the same team today as the one that showed up in Starkville
Alabama- multitude of things bit us in the arse, winded up boiling down to some poorly executed shot plays.

Or

LSU loses bowl game in convincing fashion and reflects on season, only beat 2 bowl eligible teams (assuming we beat the faggies) and have an uphill battle in the recruiting trail.

Say what you will but these next two games have a huge impact on the momentum of this program, if O is going to be successful as a head coach anywhere this is where he needs to earn his money

Bowl game gonna be yuuuuuuuge

It’s just sad that LSU was favored in both early season losses (MSU, Troy).

Just think of where a one loss LSU team would be right now.

I still say this was a rebuilding year- we had some key all-stars lost from last year & then the defection on the OL hurt even more. I expected this to be a 3-4 loss season going in...

Everyone (meaning significant majority) expected 3 to 4 loses this season no matter if they were pro O or anti O.

I concede a case for guarded optimism can be made following the way this team rebounded following the loss to Troy.

Then again, we did lose tp Troy, were embarrassed by State and seem to be no closer to ending Bama's dominance of us.

It's a quandary at this time.

We also didn't expect half the teams looking for a new coach because they fricking sucked.

This team should get to 12 wins with the talent on the roster.
