Has the quality of the food improved and the price? Or should I just bring snacks?

The only way this program gets fans to the gym is by the product on the court. All other aspects of the fan experience are terrible at the PMAC.

You could always just eat at Chimes before you go to the game

Hot sausage po-boy has been serviceable at times, but I only eat there if I have to.

A couple of options.

Generic concession food and snacks.
Burgersmith
Some sort of taco place
Chick-fil-a sandwiches

Best bang for your buck, IMO.

Go to PMAC for the game. Stop at a restaurant for food. Your life will be better.

If I'm not mistaken there are food trucks out there for the pre-game party.

Tickets are available online at LSUtix.net and at the upper concourse ticket windows of the Maravich Center beginning at 11:30 a.m. There will be another Maravich Fan Fest on Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. outside the south side of the building with food, drink, games and a HD video wall to watch other college basketball games.

YMMV.

Last time I went, the line was only 5 deep but still took 20 mins. Pathetic.

Weeknight game, when driving in from River Parishes, thought I could save time by just grabbing a bite before the game at the PMAC.... NOPE.

I realize you're probably asking about actual food and not just popcorn. But, when we've gotten popcorn this season it's been almost too salty to even eat.

Bring snacks.

I made the mistake a couple weeks ago of buying the propaganda that the food improved and prices weren't bad.

Took two kids. When it was over, it was nearly $40 for a total of 4 small chicken tenders, a bunch of fries, two drinks (mostly ice) and a bottle of water.

Never. Again.

That’s where they get you. I like ice in my drinks, but the best way to go is bottled 20 oz for sure.
