Why Patterson though? He's shown he can be a great contributor, when he gives a shite of course

He's a decent defender, but doesn't bring much other than that. His fist year here the kid was an assasin, but his shooting is now shaky at best, his handles are nonexistent, and he isn't a playmaker. He just doesn't add enough to warrant being kept around.

that's fair, but I do agree with the previous poster that said it's doubtful we see two more transfers. that's why I politely said a I really, really hope Hayward leaves

Are you talking about me alluding to the fact that he has potential, which he without a question has?

Kind of a surprise. We didn't need young guys transferring. This team isn't built to win now and I though he would become a solid role player moving forward.

Fine drop Elbert, but we need to build the roster for the future.

Was wondering how Heyward would develop under the new staff. Good luck to him.

Probably going to get a few JUCO and atleast 1 grad transfer next year to help with losing all of those seniors. We have a shot at some really good guys in that class as well, so we will get to see wade and his assistants recruiting ability

I knew this was coming as soon as Johnny Jones realized it wasn't Gordon.

I'd rather keep him and lose ER3.

Honestly this....I know the size is enticing and I know Elbert works hard. But the game is trending away from post play and even if it weren't Elbert's mobility (or lack thereof) really limits what he can give to the team.

Best of luck to him. Was interested in if the new staff was gonna be able to hone his skills in. O well

Back down to 13 on scholarship. Even without Blakeney, I think that next years lineup with vastly better coaching will be much improved over this years team. If we can get Alstork from Wright St., he could replace a good portion of Blakeney's scoring.

We do have 6 players on their last year of eligibility on next years team. It will be interesting and important as to who Wade will get in the 2018 class. I'm thinking that 1 or 2 will be JC or senior/grad transfers. Hopefully, Smart will be one of the freshman!! The remainder will be freshman. Anyone have better information on who may be coming in 2018?

Wonder if he follows Johnny to Nevada or maybe even David Patrick at TCU.

I am as well. I liked Hayward's potential. I thought he had a lot of upside, oh well so much for that. If Robinson is next I would be great with that. I hate to bash the kid but he has zero game.

Loved the intensity Hayward played with. Was hopeful he would be an integral piece moving forward. I really hope he finds a good landing spot.

Loved Hayward, a little bummed. He actually adjusted better than I thought he would coming from Australia. I think in 2 years he will be a player somewhere
