You just started the first one.
Congrats
Congrats
Jayden did what people have been asking for.
Staying in the pocket, throwing catchable balls deep, reading a defense.
shite he even threw to his relief valve on critical downs.
Lets see if he can be consistent.

Daniels made some great downfield throws. If he reverts back then you'll see threads pop up.

Bless your heart.

Some of yall are pretty shitty fans.
It's like you want this hard division between people who think JD is better than Burrow and those who simply had frustration with his lack of progress after an entire offseason.
You don't have to hate one QB just so you can like the other one.
Again, if JD actually throws the ball downfield and takes chances, I don't think anyone is unhappy about him leading our team.

Do you people know it's possible to be supportive of LSU and not shite on players?

Good.
If JD won't stay in the pocket and pass the ball, then Nuss needs to be the quarterback. If JD can do those things, then I don't think any reasonable person will complain.
It was never a personality contest. It was the fact that JD simply wouldn't do what needed to be done. He's doing those things now....for now.

Let’s see if he can be consistent.
It depends on what you mean by “consistent.” He’s not gonna break the single game completion percentage record and go 30-34 for 340 yards with 2 TDs passing and 2 more rushing every week. Was hard for even his most ardent haters to say anything about last week. But if he “only” goes 24-34 for 280 yards and 2 touchdowns passing and—gasp!!!—misses just 1 downfield throw, even if we rush for 200 yards and win by 3 touchdowns, the haters will be back saying he’s “regressed” and can’t be consistent.
Last week was actually perfect for his haters. His performance set the bar so high, that it allowed them
to put unrealistic expectations into on him to repeat it, and anything short of perfect will have them gleefully pointing out any and all mistakes as validation, and they will revel in calling him inconsistent and the Arkansas game as an outlier.
The whole “let’s wait and see” crowd is so sad. Why wait until later and have to try to go back and retroactively enjoy a great performance? A college football season should be about the journey for fans. There’s only 12 of these games guaranteed per year, and we all know how fast it goes. I’m going to enjoy everything as it happens, not “wait” for some arbitrary day in the future that will likely just continue to be pushed back with the weekly “Arkansas’s defense sucked, let’s see what he does against Ole Miss,” then “Ole Miss wasn’t nearly as good as we thought, let’s wait and see how he does against…” and round and round it will go until they’ll want to see how he does against Georgia in the SECCG.
We could go 11-1 and win the West again, but they won’t allow themselves to enjoy it with all their goalpost moving “wait and see”s. The only joy they’ll have throughout the season will be when Jayden runs too early and doesn’t see an open WR down field, underthrows Malik for a 40 yard gain instead of a 50 yard TD, etc…or even has a bad game—and he will have a bad game, maybe even 2. I’ll judge him on those bad games being better than his bad games last year; but good enough that we’re still be able to pull out the win, even if it’s ugly and against an “inferior opponent.” But that’s cool, they can do them. I just prefer to enjoy the ride.

I don’t think you will see any if JD plays like he did Sat. He let our receivers make plays and used the whole field. When he does that he’s great.

That should just prove the point that people aren't againt Daniel's and they support him when he's doing things well.
As a Nuss Bus passenger, I was very pleased with Jayden's performance... The very reason I wanted to see Nuss at all is because he wasnt afraid to throw intermediate to deep routes to open up running game.
Jayden was such a ball hog during his bad games that the defense could stack the box and take a chance on being weak over the top. He stopped doing that vs MSST so I'm happy. That's exactly what I've been waiting for as a fan. Because he's started for 5 years doing the same exact crap I was doubtful and rightly so.
What's funny is that the people who hate nuss actually preferred jayden's frustrating style of 0 risk taking. I want Jayden to play 20% more like Nuss while keeping his natural ability in his back pocket for when we need it... Not as his main mode of operation.

The only people who made it about Daniels as a person were JD supporters. It was a strawman.
