Have to admit I’m more excited than ever about the direction our Athletic Program is going

4I mean it’s obvious that Woodward hired Men and Women women that have a plan and aren’t banking their futures on the athletes they necessarily can recruit but more so the process that it takes to be a champion.
Obviously great players make a difference but they are also taking notice of Fantastic structure, sound fundamentals and being a good person and student athlete . They also are working on the things they can control and forgetting about outside noise and nonsense that clogs the process.
I’m especially impressed with Kelly and his approach to every detail. Small details crossed and dotted allows the main/big goals to be achieved and players are listening up. My full buy in with Kelly was almost immediate I’ll admit but it was solidified by the 3 men he brought with him to SEC media days. These are not just great players but leaders you hitch your wagon to and ride.
Yes, the wins will dictate everything moving forward but I’ve watched sports a long time and never been more impressed than I have been in our WBB, FB, Baseball. Even mens Basketball looks to have absorbed a potential nightmare and came out better than before but we will see.
Good times ahead and I enjoyed this off-season more than most because I like everything I’m hearing so far.

Bertman was very much a 'good ol boy' network guy as well.
To this point, Woodward has done the best job of balancing it.
