Has "vanilla" approach affected our red zone/goal line passing?

I find it hard to believe that with how involved tight ends and running backs are in Canada's offense that we would have had the issues we've had close to the end zone. Our only real answer has been the proven "ram it down their throats" approach. We've just seemed a bit lost whenever we've attempted a pass down there and I'm hoping it's just because of how much of the offense we're willing to show right now.

Offense looks banging everywhere else and it's been fun to watch so far. Need to get that bit ironed out.

I think what you have seen in the first two games"is" the offense. Maybe a little more tight end involvement in passing game and a ton more shifts and formations but that will all revolve around what we saw as the staples in weeks 1 & 2. Jet sweeps, power runs, controlled passing game until defense dictates otherwise. Big thing for me is that we have shown we can shift and attack in another way once defense shuts it down or picks their poison. Another big thing is getting the freshmen in WITH the starters for live action instead of as a wholesale unit late in game. The biggest difference I see is based on the comments from Moore when he said that on Sunday he feels fresher and less beat to crap. The players will be fresher thru the season due to the different practice approach. Miles lost several titles not on the playing field but on the practice field thru the years.
