Offseason thread!

It's true that a win is a win and whenever and wherever the Tigers get the W, all is well--although over the years LSU, like most teams, hasn't been above sloppy and underwhelming play, even in victory. But has there ever been a game that frustrated you so much as a fan that remembering it a day later almost felt like a loss? Personally, I don't think there's any question:

So appalled and shocked by the buffoonery and what-the-f*ckery witnessed. Still makes me puke in my mouth a little.

The 2010 Chick-Fil-A classic against a North Carolina team that had over half of it's defensive starters suspended.

The fact that we came back and I got to walk my happy arse out of that game when LSU won gave me a lot of joy. I was freezing my balls off

Asking this on the Rant is like asking the Pope if he's catholic.

I had the opposite experience. I was sitting in the opposite endzone of the action. As soon as the ball was snapped over Jefferson's head my group got up to leave...the game was surely over.

As we got twenty feet into the tunnel you could here rumblings...then cheering erupted. Still didn't know what the frick was going on. All we knew is we had a another play.

TD...Tiger win. Me and my friends still talk about that game to this day.

The 2004 Oregon State win did very little for me.

The only answer is NO. If the Tigers win, it is a time of joy, no matter how it happened. Scoreboard, bitches.....

The same Tennessee game. I actually threw my shirt from the first row of the upper deck when that cluster frick happened - I was young and real mature then, but God that sequence of events really pissed me off.

Every win no matter how brings me joy at the end of the day. The only two stats in football that matter at the end of the day is the final score and the teams record. LSU has won ugly game but have also lost games in which they looked good. Those games don't make me feel any better because we looked good and lost more than the looked bad and won games make me lose joy.

I was listening to this game on truck radio in parking lot of my sons high school just before game time. I turned it off when TBob snapped it over JJ's head. In those days I was keeping stats for my sons high school and didn't know LSU won till afterwards when I was reviewing game stats with the OC and he said LSU sure was lucky today. I didn't believe him and had to make a couple of phone calls to confirm. Still a sucky win!

The week prior to that game, LSU and the media asked fans to not boo the Tigers. After the bad snap, everybody booed. I got a lot of joy from hearing that.

That Tennessee game sums up Les Miles perfectly.
