Has the offense surpassed the defense?

No question the defense was leaps and bounds ahead of the offense going into the season. I'm starting to think our offense could move the ball and score points on the defense. But in all, the offense has improved a good bit. The offense is putting up points even though the yardage might not be the greatest.

no, Holding Ole miss to 16 points is more impressive than scoring 45 on them. offense gets better each week though

We have a good offense and a great defense. We can win em all if we play to our potential every game.

But the way we attack defenses makes you wonder if we would give our own defense fits.

Dude without this defense we're probably 2-2. This team will go as far as the defense can take it.

I know that. I also believe this offense can move the ball and score on the defense. Offense is averaging over 33 points a game. 27 points per game against top 10 teams.

Big question from me was can LSU get some decent protection and blocking from our O/L? Against Ole Miss my Tigers did and they will get better IMHO.

If our Tigers can get everyone on this O/L healed and available......look out.

We comin!

offense isn't in the same stadium as the defense. The defense has stars on it. The offense does not really have star caliber players. No one or two players to build around or go to when absolutely need something. Offense doesn't really have an identity.

Defense has at least 3 all-americans, possibly the best lb, best cb, and best safety in the country. The offense may have one or two guys get honorable mention for all conference.

Obviously a big difference in coaching, also.

Don't know about the offense having surpassed the defense. But, like most young teams, our defense was certainly ahead of the offense at the beginning of the season. The offense is just now starting to round into shape. I'm really curious to see how they'll look in three to four weeks.

Not having K’lavon on the field takes away our chance to have an alltime great defense.
