Our running back situation is still unacceptable.

I don’t think CBK will matter in super talented RB’s coming to LSU. We are known as a RB school, and some of the best talents in history have come through here. The same goes for DBU. The guys just wanna come here.

If anything, CBK will greatly improve our already RB history. Now a super talent can not only go to a historically driven RB school, now they can do it with one of the great coaches out there.

Delusional. Nick Saban is the absolute king in this department. He cranks them out every freaking year. It’s a never ending parade of Heisman, caliber running backs. Keep it real.

If you don’t think LSU isn’t a RB school, you are delusional. That’s all we had for YEARS, and I’m talking going back 40 years.

The list would be a mile long of great LSU RB’s during this time.

Running the ball was all we knew how to do under Les. Teams knew it was coming and LSU was still really good at it. Les brought in some studs.

There’s no time like the present. We haven’t had a decent running back since Clyde, and even Clyde wasn’t a pure running back. He was a great utility back. We suck at running back.

Do some research, BKelly's running backs have always thrived, and made the NFL similar to his WRs.

Cmon bruh. Did you not see what he got out of our walk on RB last year?

I think w e have some great backs that have not got to show their wares yet. Injuries, offensive line issues and being behind. Seven yards behind the line of scrimmage to start is not ideal. The running game in modern football has taken a backseat.

Right. And our backseat came in #26 in the conference last year.

Great. But they're playing for LSU this year - not an NFL team.

I think he’s known more for TE than RB but we will get a stud at that position group, it’s year 2. Oh and LSU has had it’s fair share of good ones for sure.

If I were an elite back, I would sign with the Tigers, today!

Job is WIDE OPEN.

I was thinking about this today and if you had asked me 5 years ago if I would rather a great passing or running game I would've said passing. But, man. I miss a great running game.
