I'm a college student and strapped for cash. The GA tickets say they're good for every game. Was wondering if they actually are, and what the rules are for lawn chairs and coolers. Was planning on going game 2 and maybe 3.

Yup, good for every game. GA is foul pole to foul pole in the outfield. Id get there several hours early. The line will be pretty long and sometimes there are problems at the gate.

Do you have to be of age? Or do they just make sure there's no glass? Went to the Arkansas game this year and they just made sure you don't have glass.

Ask a silly question, if I have a GA ticket am I assured to get in or can that area fill before I reach the gate?

Yes, the blue GA ticket is good for ANY game. But each ticket is good for only one game. Just need to get there early as I think they limit the General Admission to 5,500 people.

ETA: there are no coolers/chairs allowed and there is no lawn/hill in the stadium

They let the first 5,500 people in and that's it. Then, you have to wait for people to leave to get in after that.

I apologize for the questioning and I'm sure this has been answered if I search, but in theory there may be 8,000 with a GA for the game and wanting to go, but only 5,500 are allowed in. Correct?

Correct. That's what I was told by one of the event staff.

you really gonna risk getting booted from a game of that caliber for trying to bring alcohol in?...

this is correct, so get there early and make sure you are in the right line. One game, you could use the GA ticket to get in one of the corner outfield gates, but then one game, you had to enter in the middle outfield gate.

Seems like I read on here at one time that was a grocery store near the stadium where you could purchase GA tickets. Anyone have any info about that?

I got mine off of stub hub and then picked them up at the Magnolia hotel downtown from the stub hub pickup location.

You can buy GA tix for $11 each from the ticket office at the stadium any time. Or just be an one for $10 from a scalper

Get there early and they let in 5500... Then they start doing 1 in 1 out or let more in as fire marshal allows.

I've never heard of someone not getting in to a game with a GA ticket... At worst you'll just end up missing an inning or two

In addition to outfield seats, you can also just go stand anywhere behind home plate (they have ledges for your food and drink)

The biggest downside to TDA is the GA line is just out in the sun on a sidewalk

At Rosenblatt it was on a big shaded grassy hill so the line itself was like a tailgate. At TDA its just a big straight boring line and they have sucked at getting people in quickly because they are patting people down hard at the gates this year

I have...talked to a guy who said he gave up and went home when we figured out he wouldn't make it in. It was for the Saturday night LSU game last weekend.
