I just think it's funny. He just can't control himself whenever he barrels a ball, it doesn't matter how far it goes. I said the same stuff whenever he did it at LSU. I'm not up here saying he's a bad person (there are people on here that will)

Neal still cant hit batting below 200.

Man if he only got a single out of that or thrown out at 2B I bet his coach would have chewed his arse out and maybe benched him
He's really struggled this year, became the backup catcher to Plattner ultimately and even then he's struggled enough behind the plate they keep moving him to the OF to continue to play in his most recent games.
He has just 1 double and 1 HR in 45 AB this season...looks like he'll be around 1 more year in college at this point

And to put color to this, he's only played in just 2 SEC games, so like 85% of his AB have come against much lesser competition.

The two runners on in front couldn't go until the ball got down. His options were limited.

I’m still really surprised he didn’t pan out. But from what everyone was saying, seems like he’s got some character issues that might’ve played a part. It’s even more weird that guys like him and Cam went to IMG, which has D1 level facilities, yet still came in behind fundamentally. Shows you that some guys just have it and some don’t
