No... BUT did you see the difference in how the offense was run between the BYU game and the MSU game... Don't try to tell me that things had not changed...…………..

Why do you guys pretend to be so ignorant? You don’t have to be the one calling plays to cripple an offense and you know that. Both Miles and Orgeron have admitted to telling their OCs what they can and can’t include in gameplans. They also control personnel so pretending that the HC has no influence on an offense is willfully ignorant. It’s public knowledge that this is exactly what caused the rift between O age Canada but you guys are gonna pretend like it didn’t even happen. Lol cmon dude

I don't recall ever hearing a Baton Rouge radio talk show host come out and say that Orgeron told Canada that he couldn't run 4 sides or QB runs. Obviously we all know about the shifts and motions because Orgeron said it himself.

If the other stuff I mentioned is ancient history then I apologize for bringing it up again.

You’re right up until the first half of Auburn the offense looked the same. It wasnt until after Troy that it changed.

The point I was trying to make is, if you're good at your job you get a long leash. 'Personal differences' are just an excuse to shite can somebody you either don't like or as an out in an at-will State to get rid of somebody who's underperforming.

quote:
I don't care either, but the assistant coach can't run around the practice field be openly insubordinate to the head coach in front of the player like Canada was supposed doing.

Sure they can. Somebody who has a healthy ego and is secure in their manhood doesn't mind their insubordinates challenging them. It can make everybody better. If your players or workers think that means they don't have to listen to you, then you can rain down Thunder on them and remind them who's boss. Ultimately you still have the power to hire, fire and bench people

Open insubordination is never ok. Canada failed his players twice.

First by putting players in a position to fail.

He could've done one of two things to alleviate the problems.

First he could've arranged for somebody, if not himself, to spend some extra time with the RSFr and Fr lineman to get them up to speed on the offense

Or

He could've simplified the offense somewhat to compensate for his failure to teach the kids his vaunted offense.

Canada did neither so as a result O was forced to take action.

O asked Canada to cut back on the pre snap motions due to the players not knowing what they were supposed to do. Canada response was frick you.

O was definitely in right to fire Canada.

Yeah. But who gives a shite? Canada was hired to supercharge the passing game, and he threw it 29% of the time in his first 4 games. Canada was toast and he knew it.

Everything you said in that post is made up, here’s what actually happened start to finish.
Orgeron was told to hire a new OC he didn’t want to do that he wanted Ensminger so as we were running out of time Aranda mentioned Canada and Alleva hired him making Orgeron promise to allow his OC to run his offense. When that didn’t happen Canada went to Alleva and a meeting was called after Troy in which Canada and Orgeron got into a heated argument and Alleva told Orgeron to back off and allow Canada to run his offense. From that point on Orgeron was going to fire Canada and when the season wound down that’s exactly what he did period. You guys can makeup stories about this and that but what I just laid out is what happened and anyone who paid any attention knows it’s what happened.

Well, every LSU fan should give a shite. That would mean that Orgeron interfered big time in what his OC wanted to do at Ole Miss and then again here which is exactly what he said he wasn't going to do. Now we have a young assistant coming into revamp our passing game which is something he's never done on his own. If what Hanny said is true, how do we know that E and Brady won't be told what to run and not run in 2019 if things start going bad?

Orgeron admitted to doing these things to Canada and Ensminger but his congregation is gonna sit here and deny it anyway. They live in a perpetual fantasy.

Auburn was game 7, 2 games past Troy.
We had some of our better offensive output after that.

The shifts and motions are one thing. It's not ideal IMO, but the QB runs and 4 wide sets also is serious meddling to me.

Of course O stopped Canada's insanity. Canada was running the ball 59 times a game avg for his first 4 games!!!

In 2017, only Army, Navy, and Air Force ran it more. 59 times per game!!!. Ridiculous!!!

Orgeron had his marching orders. PASS THE DAMN BALL!!! Canada was sabotaging the LSU passing offense!!!
