He can go be one of the best players in FCS, keep straight for a few months then prepare for the combine.
the best advice out there for him. You are talking keeping clean for only several months, compared to a year and a half.

you're kidding right?

or much like janzen jackson who has a bigger NFL upside than tm7 and went undrafted after being marginal at Mcneese St.

Well his parents disagree so I don't know what to tell you

Again, I think the ability for TM to sit out a year and rejoin the team in 2013 has been an option from the beginning,
oh...so lsu offered at first.....tm rejected it....lsu got pissed, and is now playing hardball with him. I see.

Yikes. Yeah, people forget about that.

you need to read between the lines
tm7 dismissed himself by his reaction
OHHHHH....now that makes sense....and LSU got pissed, so they are now playing hardball with him.....makes perfect sense.

Now you're getting it

and the kid from florida was a pure cover corner, there is a risk with taking tm7 in the nfl (from their point of view)

I'm not following the story to this degree...can you give me a link?

I'm wondering (not reading 5 pages) if they say to him "you may be able to join the team next year, but we just can't make that decision today" I wonder if he would risk sitting out a year on the hope that they will bring him back next year. That would be a test of his character and dedication to LSU to see if he would stick it out with no definite answer on whether he will or won't make the team in the future. I hope they give him the chance. Selfishly I hope it because I want to see him play in purple and gold. I also want it because it would likely be the best thing for him.
TM7 would come back on the field in 2013 and have an amazing season IMO.

And what if they did try to suspend him for a year and TM rejected that at first?
IMO, this whole thing is going way over your head.
well, it was....but you scholars have made me see the light now. What they did was offer this option...TM turned it down...had a change of heart after thinking about it...but then LSU got pissed at him for initially rejecting the offer, so they are now playing hardball with him. Makes perfect sense....thanks for lowering that information down to a level that would not be over my head.

So this is where you landed? Why did you vanish from the other thread you were making an idiot out of yourself in?

TM fails drug test
Told he has to sit a year based on 3rd failure/policy
Refuses and wants to transfer
Visits schools over the weekend
Expresses interest about taking the one year option at lsu
This isn't hard to figure out

TM can't get on ESPNs weekly hilight show playing at McNeese, for all the scouts to see. Staying at LSU and staying clean then putting up good numbers and receiving national exposure weekly would make his draft/ character stock rise. He screwed the pooch and has seen the other side and wants back. He is the type of athlete that will take back his starting spot in 2013
Posted on 8/14/12 at 3:46 pm to Tville Tiger
a few months clean isnt shite, it is not very likely to stay clean at all going to mcneese imo

oh i see...but there was no off the field risk for taking the florida kid because he was a pure cover corner....lol....the top draft experts have already weighed in...but I know...you know more than them...
Posted on 8/14/12 at 3:49 pm to VC
You come off as a bad LSUtangerine alter
Posted on 8/14/12 at 3:49 pm to TheDoc
I on't understand the hardball thing. I don't think they are pissed and playing hardball. I think they are working out what they could do if they can do anything at all. These things take time.
