I think you're right. The NCAA has always left it up to the schools as far as administering and dealing with drug tests. It's why you have different policies even among members of the same conference.

Just some clarification for those reading this thread.
1. The first drug test TM failed nobody heard about because there is no on field ramification MANDATED!
2. Second test (first we knew about) was last year and penalties according to a second drug test we used just as the LSU policy states.
3. Now he fails a third test and policy states a manditory year off from competition at LSU. This has been implemented.
All this speculation about TM failing as many as 7 drug test comes from people pulling shite out of the air and posting it. I have not even read a single one of those post where the author claimed to have inside inforation.
All of that is nothing but speculation. It is speculation that if true would mean the NCAA hammer could be coming down hard on LSU. Therefore until I see at least a single shred of evidence (any) I will ignore such post as pure bullshite. And it is amazing that that kind of shite isn't pulled from the message board asap.
The admins of this site don't hesitate to pull other speculation post. Please start pulling these as they actually need to be pulled.
