This team has no mental toughness!!! None!! Falling off beam all year,falling in a floor routine, and other things!!! During the off season they really need to work on being tougher!!

I don't want to give up on Gnat but I mean, her event regressed. Those are the facts. Beam is the reason LSU lost SEC's, almost got knocked out of regionals and is the reason LSU choked a .400-.500 lead in the final rotation.
Overscored/underscored was not the reason we didn't advance. LSU literally had a giant cushion going into the last rotation and could not get out their own way.

I have said it before and I will say to again:
1) this senior class has underperformed throughout all the years;
2) gnat is too inexperienced to be a beam coach- I honestly think that’s a large part of it this year.

You guys just wait for moments like this to just completely come out of nowhere and be dickheads. We have the talent, but we barely made it to this stage..

They seem to get flustered with nerves when something goes wrong. Durante on Bars, and the 9.4 from Shchennikova on beam...

Didn’t we lose three meets in a row earlier this year? Didn’t we barely by god fortune get past the regionals? By all accounts, getting to this point was about the best they could have done.

Those floor judges should be grilled. I don’t blame them because we had to count two clearly flawed beam routines but even Bama just barely missed out. 2nd 3rd and 4th place within a half tenth of each other. Something has to be done about scoring, even if it means lower scores.

I looked at my wife when they had the stumble on beam and said no way they blow the lead they have on Utah....she (who watches every meet) said ehhhh it’s a good chance

I’m sad season is over. Next year will not be any easier whatsoever with all the talent coming in. I hope Jay will swallow his pride and tweak some things that hold this team back.
