Starter came out rough and hitters were seeing him and taking advantage. Team didn't panic, just fought back and relif pitchers kept pedal to the medal.

Also...Cowan is filthy.

Now let’s all hold hands and pray that the bullpen doesn’t implode in game 2 and 3 like it did last weekend and blow the series.

Somebody other than Cowan or Evans has got to step up and start playing up to their potential. Can’t keep relying on just two relievers to carry the load or else LSU is going to lose a lot of game 2s or 3s because of it.

Yes indeed, we will be on pins and needles. Hopefully we’ll come out tomorrow arse on fire and squeak it out. Then at least Saturday’s finale won’t be quite so critical.

I’m young, but that the gutsiest win I’ve seen in a hot arse minute at the Box

wasnt near as epic as rally possum game but had the same feel...for a few innings it just felt like Miss state was solidly ahead and when LSU did do something they would respond and get further away.... it just felt like it wasnt our night... then one big inning and it felt like there was no way LSU was losing this game.

It feels like the only reason we didn't score in the 6 or 7th inning is because they didn't and we didn't have to. I feel like if they would have taken the lead back we would have done more towards the end of the game

That insurance run we scored on the pitch that got away felt like a grand slam the way Cowan was pitching
