He was close to having 3 picks. That fade in the first drive into the endzone he almost pulled it in. Vincent is playing great as well. Curiosity how KT2 and Xavier are used going forward. Both can play.

Greedy is a virtual mirror image of Mo Claiborne. Looks like he can be that good too. He has yet to be tested by any true beast WRs yet, but he's got phenomenal instincts and an abundance of potential.

I was shocked Greedy redshirted last year. I know we're loaded but the kid is a straight up baller.

I'm waiting for KT2 and him to be the starters, DJ is fast and he's a playmaker, but he makes a lot of mistakes as well. He can be a great nickel but I don't want to see him on the field every play.

Greedy and Chaisson will probably end up being Freshman All-Americans

Kary Vincent and Tyler Taylor could be freshman All-Americans as well. Ingram or Charles also

Yeah I'm not sure how you came to this conclusion. you don't win the Thorpe and get drafted 6th overall if you don't have OUTSTANDING ball skills. the sky is the limit for Greedy but these kinds of statements make me think you are pretty young and don't really remember watching Mo. As far as college CB's go, they don't get much better than what Mo was for us.

Claiborne's ball skill, measurements & physical play made him the draft pick he was.

exactly. Mo had better ball skills than PP he just wasnt nearly as athletic and wasnt 215-220.

Just to hammer this one home, Claiborne had sick ball skills. When watching the game on TV, every time the ball was thrown off screen I'd assume Claiborne was gonna pick it.

I'm pretty sure he had more interceptions than completions given up on passes of 20+ yards.

I dont know about the speed, I bet it's very close, but I do know he has always been in perfect position and he definitely knows when to look back at the right time. Everything he has done so far is textbook perfect. Not to mention, that second interception he made, I never saw Claiborne make that kind of play while at LSU. That play took honey bear instincts to pull off and Claiborne didn't have those kind of instincts.

Dude has played against BYU and Chattanooga. Temper down those expectations.

Greedy has been a pleasant surprise. As someone else stated, he redshirted last year and I think that caused many (me too) to overlook him.

He's a natural corner. He has all the intangibles needed to be really, really good.

DJ makes a shitload of mistakes. I think he leans on his elite speed as a crutch and it puts in a bad position to give up easy catches.

His speed and quickness are best served at the nickel with Toliver and Williams at CB.

On that second pick Williams made, I never saw Claiborne make that kind of play or similar. That play took honey bear kind of instincts and very few people are blessed with those kind of instincts.

Greedy should be starting and Donte should not. I noticed Kevin Toliver got a lot of PT this week. To me, Greedy and Toliver are your 2 starting CBs and Vincent in the nickel. Put Donte on kickoff returns. His straight line speed would be a big asset on kickoff returns. Makes good defensive angles become bad angles quickly.
