Great win, but one big worry.

FIVE FIELD GOALS and two TDS means we got within striking distance SEVEN times, and only punched it in twice.

Stuff to improve on in the coming weeks for the fifth ranked team in the country. I like that.

Red Zone offense can be fixed. Would like to see tiddys but will take the points.
Bigger take away is that this O Line can play when they want to and we have a QB that can convert 3rd downs to get us to that area of the field

We do need to call better plays in the red zone with more misdirection, etc.

However, seven scoring drives is great against UGA. And with the FG kicker we have, we just have to basically reach the 30. That's a big positive. I would like to punch more in though, yes.

We still scored 36 points against an elite defense. At least we make those field goals now.

I don't think anyone is under the impression that we played the best we could possibly play on offense yesterday.

We definitely played the best we've played so far.

We haven't hit our offensive ceiling, so I think yesterday is more a sign that good things are to come than something to worry about.

UGA is one of the best defenses we will play all year though.

Crazy to think that game could have been 48-16 if we'd have finished drives.

Don't be surprised if LSU covers or even wins outright against Bama.

True, but I think that's the final piece in the championship puzzle

Red zone TDs is a legit concern.

As great as we were playing, we were kicking FGs and UGA cut the lead to 10, and could've been 8 with the two-point conversion we stuffed. We answered, which was great, but against Bama, we're going to need more TDs.

I don't want to be that guy, but Saban was bitching about the same thing from his offense....against Mizz.

Maybe, but a week ago you were probably saying...

LSU matches up well against Georgia. And that’s goes for historically speaking as well. LSU doesn’t match up as well against state especially since Moorhead is now back playing to state’s offensive skill set. State’s defensive front is a bit better than Georgia’s ..

You do realize Georgia is an elite team with an elite defense, and NFL bound players. When you play truly great competition you may not score tds on all or occasionally majority of your red zone drives. That’s why it pays to be a complete team where your special teams can be counted on. Tigers got it done when it counted in the red zone.

The whole line played great yesterday. Lloyd has been a stready rock for them since game one.

Hines looked good, and Lewis played his best game so far this year. Lewis was getting some serious push on those QB sneaks. I can easily see why they said he was the strongest player on the team.
