It sounded loud on TV from both fan bases. Except the Canes didn’t have much to cheer about most of the night. I expected a great Tiger turnout, but was impressed that Miami brought as many fans as they did. They were VERY over-confident. Also, I want to call out the nega-Tigers who were projecting a 35-40k attendance who under-estimate the loyal Tiger Nation. BTW, we have a really good team and a good shot at a great season.

I was stunned Miami brought that many being they never sellout home games

Their fan base really thought that they were playoff bound and would steam roll us.

I didn’t think that many Miami fans would show up either. It was a good crowd, look full except for the corners of the upper decks.

Miami’s crowd was much thinner than LSU and about half of them left at halftime.

Their attendance for next couple home games will be shite.

I was surprised with how many Miami fans showed up last night. I was expecting way more LSU fans ,but it was almost split.

Announcers said it was 50/50 but it definitely didn't look that way on tv

It was about 2/3 LSU.

I was thinking 70/30 at kickoff. Just from looking around the stadium.

I thought it may have been about 60/40. I was shocked at how many Canes fans came. They brought more people than TCU did in 2013

Miami has a student base like Tulane and Vanderbilt. They have a preponderance of out of state alumnae. This hurts Home attendance, but it helps out of state attendance.

I was at the game and their fan base was literally going out of their way to get into the LSU fans faces before the game at times. It was beautiful when reality set in and we laid that beatdown on them 2005 peach bowl style! They can take that turnover chain and throw it in the trash now!

Their arrogance plus ignorance truly is a site to behold.

Whatever you say.

LSU's previous three games in Jerryworld had crowds of 83,514 for Texas A&M, 87,711 for Oregon, and 80,230 for TCU.

This is probably the largest contingent of Cane fans that have traveled to an away game ever- maybe even their Rose Bowl BCS. The reason that I believe is that they were sure that they were 100% back to greatness and wanted to celebrate the resurrection. We pissed on their Stone crabs.

It couldn't of happened to a "nicer" bunch.

I wouldn’t call them the “worst” fans but damn they’ve got some very corny and generic fans. I saw way more tank tops and turnover chains than I saw U polos. They definitely don’t fit the typical southern college mold. You can totally tell they’re either bandwagon d bags or that they are from south Florida.

frick Miami and their arrogant sidewalk fans. IMO they’re worse than any fanbase I’ve been around and I’ve been around bama fans 4 separate times.
