If he does get reinstated, will some of you dumbasses just leave the board altogether?

If so, please reinstate him Les so we can weed out the idiots on here.

If it was Ware or Randle or Mathieu, would you all be saying the same thing to leave him off the team? I'm willing to bet it would change about half of the people on here saying to leave Jefferson off

He was indicted. That means there will be a trial, that means no practice.

he's not going to go through a drawn out fricking trial. jesus. and even if he did it'd last all of 3 hours this isn't Michael Jackson's doctor we're talking about here. Probably 894 this shite, pay a fine and do some community service.

I hope JJ never sees the field again. Bring him back on the team and on the sidelines if you want.

can't he plead guilty to the lesser charge, pay a fine, and maybe even eventually have this expunged or something? or am I off base?

You'd be surprised how many misdeamenors charges are on this team. Some, like our b/u QB have a few. Move on.

All of which eats up more weeks of practice

No, you are not off base.

JJ could very easily plead this out and get community service and probation. And this could happen very fast.

Now, Miles may choose to keep him suspended/benched for a few more weeks...

All it means is the guy he kicked in the head didn't suffer serious injury enough to raise the charge to second degree. The GJ determined evidence existed to charge JJ with a crime. He should NOT be allowed back until this is adjudicated.

No, we don't know if the GJ based their charges on a kick in the head or other action. All we know is that the GJ determined evidence existed to charge JJ with simple battery. A coworker of mine was charged with simple battery for shoving another coworker while on the job.

Again, 'experts' have said that kicking someone in the head was more than simple battery. And I'd agree...if the GJ had evidence he'd kicked someone in the head, the charges would have been a bit more serious.
