it is exactly that though, it IS as RIDICULOUS as it sounds! Breaking Curfew is comparable with not fulfilling an appropriate rep of pull-ups. It's something we all do, just hope nobody sees us slacking.

Hopefully JJ's charges get dismissed by the judge who hears the case.

Glad they're both reinstated on the team. He'll have to fight very very hard to get the starting job back, but the opportunity is there.

Something tells me Josh probably would disagree with you bout "justice" being done.

Choctaw, I would lay 10 large on a bet with you that this wouldn't happen against WKU or any lesser opponent.

If the shoe don't fit you must acquit!

Forgive me if someone else made this turrible attempt at a joke, but I'm not reading this entire thread.

How much has this bar fight cost the Baton Rouge tax payers? DNA on 50+ pairs of shoes, GJ, media BS. I'm amazed and proud that our boys have been able to concentrate and pull off what they have. Impressive. Great coach, great team.

I have heard a similar story from another person that said he witnessed the fight and saw JJ do nothing wrong. He also did not come forward with info to exonerate JJ.

You people should suck it up and come forward with what you know.

Put yourself in his shoes. If you were accused of something, would you want witnesses to remain silent???

The whole fight mess was a pretext for many on here to address the real issue: JJ, while serviceable, was not an above avg QB. His attempts at leadership also appeared forced.

People should just come right out and say Lee is a better QB than JJ. No need to twist his legal issues around to fairly assess his play. People will do it, and have done it, b/c they know CLM might play JJ over Lee.

On a related note, it will be interesting to see if JJ handles being the backup as well as Lee did for 3 years.

Also, Lee is doing better b/c he's allowed to get into a rhythem. CLM has to see that, right? Right?!?

Great to have JJs back and look forward to seeing you guys develop to the potential that your coach will certainly allow. Lee has done a very good job for us this season but for all those arm chair critics and want-to-be coaches, JJ was our starter before this mess in Miles' eyes, and com'on guys, those eyes are the only ones that count. You guys aren't at practice every day. Bash JJ, you're just bashing Miles.

Until the last 4 games, Lee has never been as popular as he now appears to be and fantastic for the job he has done, but let's face it, JJ has many attributes that JJ does not have and will hopefully combine for a NC.

You might want to rethink that!

suspending his starting qb for 4 games is example enough...you must have forgotten that the DA has already said that there was inclusive evidence against JJ...dont be surprised if the DA's office dismisses this simple battery charge against JJ

it is hard to disagree with your first 3 paragraphs but the fourth paragraph is incorrect...JLEE is doing better because the coaching staff is not asking him to be a gunslinger...he at this point in the game is a facilitator(big difference)he is allowed to throw when the defense has committed to the run which make his job very easy.

Miles stressed that Jarrett Lee, who has started in LSU's first four games - all double-digit victories - will remain the starter for the foreseeable future. However, the coach added that he envisions Jefferson seeing action in most of the remaining games because of his ability to scramble and run the option.

I guess it wouldn't be too bad if he's extremely limited on the number of passes he's allowed to throw

I would think that since JJ has said he is innocent his attorney will not let him plead guilty and open him up to a civil suit.
