two misdemeanor counts of sexual battery. And you are rt, the other 4 charges were dropped. My bad. That is still worse than what JJ has, just like wing, just like t bob.

So he should or shouldnt be allowed back? I never said i wanted him to play, but we could use him if there were injuries and still come out with a bcs title.

And i think we would have a better chance wit JJ than the other guys who havent played.

JJ has not practiced since the suspension, if Miles lets him play can't see if happening for a couple of weeks, he needs to get conditioned and ready for play. If he is reinstated don't think he will start unless Lee gets hurt. I think the offense is comfortable with each other as they are right now.

This, and if he does let him play , we might not see it until homecoming.

I really don't think Les is dumb enough to put JJ in the starting spot anytime soon.

Unless Lee begins to suck or gets hurt it has to be his team. Les knows this. He won't frick it up.

JJ will likely see some time if we start looking bogged down on offense, but thats it.

JJ also won't be spouting off and I really don't see it being a distraction. As others have said, he is probably covering for some folks. He has the respect of the players in the locker room, as does JLee.

Les has handled this thing flawlessly, and there's no reason to think he won't going forward. He may be a dumbass sometimes at the end of games, but I'm done questioning him and what he's doing. Les has more than proven himself to the LSU faithful.

Chill..do not be so serious. Most people want to see justice whatever is was, and we did, and he is reinstated. But there are plenty plenty that were hoping for him to lose the starting job in the spring. He job is now lost and Miles is about as loyal to his new starter as they come.

I wouldn't mind seeing him get a little playing time against Kentucky late in the game just to start getting his timeing back down with the recievers and getting him back into the flow of the game. It's been a long time since he practiced and the rest of the team is starting to hit mid season form. He is going to need playing time just to catch back up with the rest of the team. He isn't going to get meaningfull minutes for a few games and probably doesn't start the rest of the season unless Lee gets hurt.

It's not about loyalty, it's about doing what is best for the team and what is best for the team at htis point is for Lee to continue as starter.

Should be, but he is not the starter. And I hope Miles is as loyal to Lee as he was to JJ

Disagree. with miles it is about loyalty to a fault sometimes, but better than being unloyal to a fault

at all the idiots thinking that reinstating this bum back is a good thing. This team is fricked. All he'll do is destroy this team's success and progression. We got too good of a thing going.

So the new talking points for Team Dirt are:

1) Jefferson lied to his dad and said he wasn't involved, which is apparently just as bad;

2) Lee is so emotionally fragile Jefferson has to stay off the team or Lee will completely wilt; or

3) If Jefferson is let back on the field the fans will "revolt" (violently? I sure hope not!) and Tiger Stadium will be half empty.

Got any others?

why doesnt JJ red shirt? there's no way he gets enough PT this year to get drafted the way Lee is playing.

His best bet is to compete for the starting spot nexct year IMO.

I think he more tends to play who he thinks gives LSU the best chance of winning, but to each his own.

I'm not gonna get any sleep for days watching the avalanche of hypocrisy as the "mothereffing thug needs to be off the team" crowd tries to rationalize how a more talented player isn't a thug for 'kicking someone in the head while they're down'.

You are calling out hypocrisy that you made up. Why is the assumption that the people calling JJ a thug for kicking a defenseless person are biased because JJ is not a good player? Maybe they just have a better perspective of the importance of collegiate athletics than you do.
