I can't imagine a single player deciding to not sign with LSU because of comments on a fan message board. And if that actually is true, we probably don't need a guy who's that mentally weak.

yeh it's such a reach to think a guy who is deciding between a few teams see one fanbase talking about the program being a dumpster fire, ncaa is going to come down hard on us, fire all the coaches etc wouldn't weigh that in his decision.

Here's an idea: don't have a dumpster fire program, and the fans won't have to talk about it.

So they can't handle objective truth. Got it.

The idea that this board should act as if its primary goal is to be a recruitment tool is hilarious to me.

Its a sounding board for entertainment.

Seems to me that the MAGA crew is vocally defending Orgeron here. Go look at the threads about the opt outs. Anyone saying Orgeron is mostly to blame gets called a libtard or some other sophomoric insult.

It's hilarious how so many of you juvenile pea brains have to tie your sense of self to your political party and then try to apply your "political superiority" to arguments about a sports team.

Bunch of group think mental midgets around here.

Flame away morons.

I was vastly more optimistic last night than this morning. Sources I trust have informed me that we are going to lose at least three four star recruits and three more critical underclassmen to the NFL draft. Depressing. I guess I just need to stop following the program as closely for a bit. Maybe my sources are wrong, but they rarely have been over the last decade. One can hope.

you don't think recruits can already see what's happening here? This board isn't a groundbreaking news organization. It's a fan board.

And no, I don't think a player would base his decision, in any way, on the rantings in a fan message board.

Bruh...

Really? I mean, the Title IX issues have the potential to make the next few years quite bleak.

There's enough smoke there to justify the concern at this point, and it appears that Orgeron, as well as others in the AD, are going to have some serious issues.

Good thing the fans are fans of the teams and don’t have to be fans of every individual player and coach, especially the ones that quit within a year or two.

Yeah, because our fans are a bunch of excuse making pussies. We need strong fans and stronger players. More weakness is obviously not what we need anymore of. It’s the cause of all of this madness.

So of the many players that opted out, which ones were committed to the school and not the fans?
