I wouldn't know where to begin. A healthy Gio is a really good OF and he's got experience. We know he can hit SEC pitching. But then where do you put Pearson? Morgan if Barry plays 1B? I honestly don't think we've been so deep in so many places in years. Sucks we don't have a catcher that can hit and play defense right now. But we could be in for a pleasant surprise there like we were with Sciv.

I think you keep Morgan at 1B, move Doughty to 2B, Berry to 3B. There is a possibility of you moving Dugas to DH. You could also DH Berry, move Doughty to 3B and Bianco to 2B. I think Gio is a lock for CF unless proven otherwise. Pearson looks promising but will have to prove he can hit .250 or better against SEC pitching in order to take a spot out there. But I agree, I haven’t seen a team not only this deep, but also fluid in the positions they can play in a very long time. It’s a wonderful problem to have.

I think you DH Berry before you do it to Dugas who has shown to be a pretty good OF.

Don’t see him sniffing the lineup if he makes it past fall cuts.

Dugas isn’t coming back to DH.

All these players coming back for a new coach that they didn’t have a relationship with tells me that LSU made the correct hire.

I agree too. I’m just saying that there’s options and you can wiggle people around if you need to. Wonder what happens to Beloso, I could see him transferring out

Morgan isn’t moving anywhere. Don’t see why not put Barry at 2nd, keep doughty at 3rd. Or Barry at third, doughty at DJ, Bianco at 2nd
