CLM did not have offense in his DNA. Neither did his OCs.
You have to wonder why he stayed so long then. Offense was supposed to be his expertise.

Looking back, Studrawa wasn’t that bad of an OC.

2012 was disappointing for the talent we had.

Les had really good offenses though through 2007. His offenses were better than Saban in 2004

E wasn't the OC. ThIs offense has nothing to do with the previous admin.

Well seeing how Burrow is a stone cold assassin trained by Urban Meyer it remains to be seen how much this offense has to do with the current admin too.

Regardless, E deserves just as much credit as Brady does

merely acknowledging that Miles had poor offenses isn't being insecure - it's being truthful.

So, what? Archer had good moments and was over his head. Curly Hallman sucked. Dinardo brought back the magic and then made it disappear. Saban accomplished great things and was a dick.

Steve Kragthorpe was to be our OC and then he found out he had Parkinson's, and bowed out from the role.

Judging by his history and the kind of offense he had at Tulsa, I truly believe that if he had become OC (if Les wouldn't meddle with him) he would have modernized our offense.

Agreed.

And for the record, I’ve said before that E deserves a lot of credit for the good we saw out of that offense in 2011.

He turned down the OC gig, but it was a group effort between Krag, Stud, Miles, and E to make things work so well that year.

E is the most modest and humble dude maybe ever involved with this program. He will be sorely missed whenever he is gone, or run off, as the case may be.

No, but most were. And he did fine in 2013.

Hope for what?

To re-evaluate things once we have some time to see how things play out??

The guy is just as loyal and hard working as they come, period.

When he steps out, I believe it will be his own choice. He has already mentioned being ready to spend all his time with his family, and the hefty raise he recently received will allow him to more thoroughly enjoy that.

He should be honored by having something in or around TS named after him, after he does retire. He's been good enough to LSU to deserve that much.

These will decline over time as fewer and fewer people stop questioning the Orgeron hire. Les has been the comparator for O.

To me, your point seems to be to shite on the most successful coach in our history 3 years after he has been gone. Bringing him up is completely unnecessary to enjoying what is happening at LSU currently.

Again, it’s about Les’ most recent results at LSU. He did great for a while but we were declining in his last 2+ seasons as a result of Les’ stubbornness and refusal to change. Tiger fans almost have PTSD from our constipated offenses of the Miles era.

Also, you have to admit that what we're doing now also tends to magnify the horrific offensive product Miles put on the field.

And Orgeron to this point. We Still have only scored against bama in 1/3 of the games in Os tenure. We also still haven’t won the west.

I’m pumped about this offense and this team but seems dumb to denigrate miles to prop up O after only 2 games.

You Miles negatigers have an obsession with trying to run down what was a very productive era of LSU football for the current one and coach that have accomplished very little to this point. It remains to be seen if this team is what people think they are...

All of this right here.

Wow! You mean people would still believe after all these years that an OC would make a difference on a Miles team after 2008?

I would laugh at all of you guys every offseason we got a new OC.

He had OBJ, Jarvis, Hill. Our defense has been wrecked by attrition so we had to open it up.

Honestly, it didn't matter who Les's offensive coordinator was, it was Les's offense...especially after 2008.

Lnchbox - les just sucked admit it. He drove a Ferrari like it was a beater. F him and I’m fine if anyone points that out at anytime. Thanks

He's still the most successful coach in the schools history. The bleeding from your vagina will never change that.

Will Wade is also the man. You can cry about that too.
