How many of these shitty threads are we going to get? Enjoy the program we have.
we can do both - enjoy the offense we have now while acknowledging that Miles had poor offenses too many years.

Also, you have to admit that what we're doing now also tends to magnify the horrific offensive product Miles put on the field.

By the way, Miles is off to a great start at Kansas - had to score a late TD to beat an FCS team, and lost last week to Coastal Carolina

He inherited a team that has averaged 2 wins per season for the last decade. Give him some time, goddamn.

Funny looking back how much tRant hyped this guy up.

I think everyone had high hopes for him. I'm not sure he was a bad hire, or he just wasn't allowed much autonomy.

No I don't. Les was the coach during most of the golden era of LSU football. You will never take that away from him, no matter how much you whine about him how ever many years later.

No. I am one of those 'what the frick is wrong with you miserable a-hole dolts that MUST talk about him' kind of guys.

so what's the rule on talking about former coaches and players? Seriously, I want to know the specifics of when it proper or not.

I mean, can I talk about Shaq, or is that forbidden because "he's no longer here."

Are you Kathy? You seem really butthurt in this thread.

We've heard for a year about the fabled 2015 offense.

We've heard for a year as to why people refuse to believe the offense is changing based on historical crap

Now you wAnt it off limits?

DO it whenever you want. Just don't be surprised if people think you're being a jackass.

Rule 1: You can talk about anyone you wish and for as long as you wish

Rule 2: I can laugh at you for being such an insecure girl that you have to talk badly about your ex even though you are in a better relationship now

Agreed.

There is definitely an asterisk next to everything O does until Aranda (and E for that matter) is gone

Looking back, Studrawa wasn’t that bad of an OC. He did fairly decent for being an O-Line guy.

This last two weeks really convinced me of how much Les royally screwed us. I had so many opportunities to realize before--all the way back to 2008--but it didn't really hit 'til watching us throw all over Texas.

E wasn't the OC. ThIs offense has nothing to do with the previous admin.

merely acknowledging that Miles had poor offenses isn't being insecure - it's being truthful.

You do realize you can state facts and offer legitimate criticism about someone, yet still respect the good things they did.

Yes sir

Yes sir indeed.

Worked wonders with Mettenberger in his first year, right?

Going to interesting to revisit the Brady hype six years later when he doesn’t have Burrow anymore as well

It's weird how things go sometimes...

Steve Kragthorpe was to be our OC and then he found out he had Parkinson's, and bowed out from the role.

Judging by his history and the kind of offense he had at Tulsa, I truly believe that if he had become OC (if Les wouldn't meddle with him) he would have modernized our offense.
