I've never gone to a game when I wasn't on campus early in the day. Where the hell does a man park when getting there an hour before the game? I don't mind paying up to 50 bucks or so.

On the shoulder of Nicholson or Burbank 3 miles away from the stadium

I don't do gifs, but this is where I'd post Cartman from South Park singing "In the Ghetto!"

Unless you have a reserved parking pass an hour before kickoff will not allow you time to even park and get in the game....just get out there earlier

Way wrong. You just have to know what you're doing.

Try around the law school or
Street between Voodoo BBQ and campus or
Vet school/river road or
Walk On's

And wherever you park just plan to powerwalk it.

Probably doesn't compare but I couldn't make it to the Ole Miss game last year until about an hour and a half before kick off. Complete and total clusterfrick. I ended up paying $20 to park at some black church off of River Road.

I can't get there earlier and I know I'll probably miss the first quarter. Ive already accepted that.

So I guess first stop will be the levee lots and then over to northgate? I'm trying to formulate a gameplan.

There is a free lot over off Highland I think. It's bit of walk but you walk by chimes etc. after game it's straight shot out to interstate

Yeah you just have to know what you are doing; plenty of options. I'd tell you what I would do but I don't really want to make that public

What's the chances there will be anything left though?

Are there any expensive spots that are usually guaranteed? I'd rather spend extra money than burn time driving around.

Be careful with the levee lots. B/c once they are declared full river road becomes a cluster frick.

Levee lots now that you can't park on shoulder of Nicholson. I left Towne Center area exactly 1 hour before kickoff a few years ago for the Washington game. Traffic is actually not bad at all around that time. I parked on the shoulder of Nicholson around Walk Ons, power walked/jogged/sprinted to the stadium, but made in time to meet my friends at their tailgate outside the stadium, get my ticket, and be seated for kickoff.

Levee lots will probably provide you the best opportunity to get to game unimpeded. The leaving will likely suck pretty hard though. Good luck.'
