And we ended up putting LSU in fifth place in the West. Not me. I was smarter than that.

I had the Bayou Bengals sixth.

So how could we have been so wrong about LSU?

The LSU team that comes to town Friday for a Saturday CBS game with the mighty Gators is ranked fifth in the country and is probably underrated. Let’s put it this way, if the selection committee had to vote today to decide the College Football Playoff and left LSU out, it would be a farce.

LSU was underrated because voters have no respect for Orgeron, and they're still waiting for him to slip up.

Imagine if you'd have been this engaged in LSU sports the first 141 months you'd been a member here and not suddenly all interested as soon as a certain someone became interim in September of 2016?

Imagine all the wonderful support you could have lent the program...?

We rarely have an above average QB - this year we seem to. That's a tough one to project with a transfer.

And, let's be honest...his play is essentially carrying this offense at this point. Without Burrow there's no chance we're 5-0 at this point.

That's what a quarterback is supposed to do. Very few teams play at a high level without above average QB play. Just about the entire top 10 right now has a good QB, even Notre Dame looks like a different team with Book.

Dang Ree. We do NOT need this stuff now. Wait til after LSU beats the dawgs. Man...

Still, it is nice to read. I hope the team can stay laser focused. If they do, things will be sweet.

Not sure how anyone that knows a little about rosters and what LSU was bringing on D could do this.

Ironically, after year after year after year (you get the idea) of them saying "all LSU needs is an above average QB", it wasn't uttered once this year.

So the question is now: were they wrong in thinking our problems expanded and we needed more than just a QB this year, or were they wrong about the QB being the only issue all those years before.

I think it’s a combination of both. Obviously, our QB is an upgrade over what we’ve had in the past, but a lot of the problems that plagued last year’s team were mainly injury and depth related, especially on the lines. And those problems have largely been resolved with young players maturing, transfers, and getting healthy.

This is true.

He has a chance to shut them all up permanently this year. Ed O and this team go undefeated and win the national championship this year, he will gain a shite load of respect.

This is a very strange thing to post in this thread.

I may have to limit the use of the Eaux stretching picture since it is starting to get you all excited.

Now you see Eaux working out and get excited and want to bang Shea Dixon's wife. Next thing you know you will want to bang people like Bill Cosby, MMA guys, professional wrestlers and Eaux.
