I see no benefit to firing O now, this season is over, rebuilding begins with the new coach. He coached the greatest team in LSU history. He came in as an interim, might as well let him go out as an interim.

Garic clearly doesn’t understand how contract law works.
If he is offended by watching these kids play, then he can always turn off the tv. That would certainly avoid the damages caused by all of those contract violations (and would respect the players’ need to get reps for the growth of their careers).

Ed should have kicked the FG to go up 10-0.

Yeah, that was stupid. If we had only scored a field goal on the first drive, I could understand it better because you wouldn't want to have two long drives that resulted in just a 6-point lead. But when you're on the road against a good offense with a chance to go up two scores (and you will receive the ball to start the 2nd half), you kick the FG and go take the two-score lead.

I get the Ed hate. But you guys are acting like it was expected we go into Oxford and win. That has been marked as a loss all season long. What happened was expected. We did beat Florida after he knew he was gone so there’s that. And I’m not even a Coach O guy.

Seems a little unfair unless Woodward is at every practice. In order to come out and shoot down that rumor they’d have had to prove it false... you could just ask assistants but any thorough investigation would probably have still involved players.

I always liked Garic. He’s always seemed like a straight shooter and when he had his personal issues, and went public with it, He earned a lot of my respect.
Hearing what he’s saying about LSU and coach O on the same airwaves that make money off of hosting the LSU games, brings a new level of respect.
I suspect that Garic will be fired for the comments but if not… WWL earns some respect too since this does nothing to help their relationship with LSU .
