While I agree Shep "could" have caught that pass, Im wondering why each pass by Lee is into double and triple coverage. That means someone is wide the frick open for LSU somewhere on the field.

Russell Sheppard is not a 3rd down receiver at this point

I'm not even sure he's a WR. You gotta catch that.

Lee is placing the balls where they need to be. Receivers need to make the catches.

another pass that should have been caught...

Lee 5 of 12 ... Should be 8 of 12 ... wind = fierce per Jordy and really affecting the passing game ... that's FB

That play to Shep should have been picked.

Why? It was a come back throw and the DB jumped up and didn't come close to the ball.

That big pass to Randle should have been picked.

LMAO. It was double coverage and Randle has a considerable height advantage there. Your bias is showing.

The early throw to OBJ on a easy throw, he threw too high.

JL should put every single pass on the numbers. Noted.

The vertical route to Randle early on I wouldn't know since Randle stopped on the route.

fricking hilarious. Randle stopped. It was a PERFECTLY thrown ball. Good try though.

FWIW, I want JL and JJ and Mett on this team. I want open competition and I want the best guy to play at all times. However, to belittle JL's performance today is uncalled for and off base.

I'm sorry but it has to be said. RS is horrible at WR. Yes he is fast, and a dynamic playmaker bcuz of his speed. His ability to catch anything remotely deep is very iffy at best. He should be used in the short passing game exclusively. Please throw to our BETTER WR's on the long throws. You know, the guys that were recruited as WR's. I hate when they throw long to RS bcuz it is usually a wasted attempt.

You obviously have no athletic expertise whatsoever. That was a catchable ball, no question. Over the linebackers and into RS hands.
