What will be interesting is if LSU and ULL get a top 8 seed. LSU has put themselves in a really good spot to win the SEC with Bama still coming up and Tenn and A&M up next. They win the SEC, that's an almost guaranteed top 10 RPI and top 8.

I might have had them the lowest of the pollsters in last weeks TD.com poll @ 7. HCB asked why I hated them.

Did they at least score today?

And Arkansas just struck out trying bunt in the 7th down by two following a lead off single. ETA: Then hit into a double play.

South Carolina falling off is huge for LSU. UF will win the east in all likelihood as their second half schedule is substantially easier than their first half.

So that leaves LSU and Bama fighting over the west and the last national seed. Their remaining schedule is rough. But then again, I didn't think they'd be doing what they've done thus far so what do I know.

It is Fury's God given right to play second vs. Tulane.

I think we all have been a little bias with preseason expectations. No one saw a year like this coming. Ms State is falling off as are Vandy and USC. Bama is strong; UF has been Jeckyl and Hyde; UK too. LSU has played some bad baseball, but somehow is in the best position for the last 4 series.

LSU needs to win the SEC to get a national seed. Winning the West won't get it done.

Rodon had one of his best weekends... against Boston college.

Winning the west may be the SEC. The east is all over the place.

Ell you mentioned about ULL and the pitching they face. In tPOS chat this week his answer to one of the questions about them was that scouts question how they will fare against elite velocity pitching.

Cant argue with birth rite. However CPM doesn't follow those rules.

Winning the west will get it done IMO, unless it's a team like Arky with a terrible RPI (which won't happen).

Maybe he and I are talking to the same guys.

It's a legit concern... Remember how well LSU was hitting OOC... in the coldest winter ever... at the beginning of a season... rotating starters all over the place...

Now imagine if we were still facing those types of teams now that the weather has warmed up and you've seen it for 40 games.
