No. No, you really don't.

This is the problem with society. Everything's so fricking PC. There's no leadership anymore. All people are worried about are optics and virtue signaling. Nobody's willing to stand up for anything.

Watch -

"How's everybody doing this afternoon? Good.

Let's cut right to the chase. I want to start by saying that our athletic director here at LSU has done a tremendous job under what has been, at times during his tenure, very difficult circumstances brought on by forces outside of his control.

He's provided tremendous leadership and vision for LSU athletics and incredible support for LSU's many student-athletes and faculty alike.

However, at this time we feel that LSU's best interest will be served by looking in a new direction.

Joe Alleva has tendered his resignation, in my office at 9:30am on this day, effective immediately. I speak for all of LSU's many faculty, staff, students, student-athletes and myself when I say that we wish Joe the very best in his future endeavors.

Choose Your Own Adventure.

Do you...

A. Until a proper search for a new permanent athletic director can be conducted in a proper manner I'd like to introduce our new acting interim athletic director who has also served for many years as one of our associate athletic directors in the athletic department, Verge Ausberry.

OR

B. With that, we are very excited to introduce an outstanding gentleman and LSU graduate who will be taking over the title of LSU Athletic Director, Mr. Scott Woodward.

I wrote that in less than 8 minutes.

I'm a high-school dropout who's never worked in an office setting.

frick you F*King

We need to clean house, but cant just dump everybody at once. Its not feasible and its bad timing anyway. This stuff takes time. Gonna need a new governor to replace FKing.

Yes we do and I know one of the candidates is not a fan of his, but there is a board to discuss that.

I think Alleva will finish out his contract but wont be renewed.

It is LSU. Never underestimate LSU's ability to blow it with administrative matters.

BOS needs some changes as well, starting with the black lives matters dude at the top.

Yep but we need a new governor for that to happen. Personally, I would like to change LSU from a state university to a state-related university like Penn State, Pitt, and Temple. That way it is not directly controlled by the state government, and only ~1/3rd of the BOS are appointed by the governor.

But the first and easiest change should be the compliance dept. Get rid of those glorified hall monitors and get some pro-LSU people in place.

Yep. They had at least 4 months to look into the situation between the news of Wade's involvement in the scandal and the yahoo article breaking. They should have already looked into and had a "damn strong" response ready to go.
