Even with the massive fall AD put up I thought HF was the Fall MVP. He has legit gap to gap pop and doesn't strike out much. Pretty damn good behind the dish too! He will be fun to watch in the spring, only negative is he may be a 1 year guy.

Slaughter will be more than fine! He was on the top of the exist velo tweets almost daily and had some really HARD outs! He gets in some trouble when he gets pull happy but has serious pop the other way. I think he is figuring out that he can hit it out to RC just as easy as LC. He will be dangerous when he fully commits to that!

7 players out of 17 hit over .300 for the fall. Some very good hitters were south of .250. I would say its a little bit of both!

I didn't track the pitching stats. Maybe Scuba or Project can try and get these up?

Any reason why Hess didn't pitch in Purple Gold World Series?
I'm guessing PM knows what he can do.

You guessed correctly. I don't have a link but I did hear on one of the sports radio shows that CPM stated he was shutting Hess down simply because he logged a lot of innings at the end of the season and in summer ball, and they already saw what they needed out of him.
