Frank Wilson’s coaching title when he comes back

I’m going to go with “Run Game Coordinator”
Need him to be able to recruit so he has to be a coach and not just a shadow. Bring him home.

A spot will open. Especially if we win the natty. They’ll get him on staff.
My concern right now is Ole Miss snatches him up before we have time to. Even then, Franks a great recruiter but I’m not sure even he could convince Louisiana boys to go to Ole Miss over LSU right now.

Only way we lose anyone to ole miss is if it’s someone we turned away or someone that is mad that we turned someone else away.

Maybe. Don’t underestimate a dominant recruiter though. Frank has some deep ties to Nola. He gets into every home and people love him here. I still think the products are just so different that he couldn’t though

Maybe take a look at the NOLA guys he pulled away from LSU last time he was at Ole Miss. we don’t want Frank anywhere but here at home. Otherwise he’ll always be a threat. He’s that good.

This needs to handled carefully with Brady.
Brady may not even know Wilson or appreciate his history with the program.
Brady worked out great in large measure b/c Ensminger had no ego. I don't know how Wilson fees about working under Brady, but he better get used to it.

Any great program was built through recruiting; you have holes like Bama and Clemson becoming powerhouses over time. Parents will send their kids to the people that they trust and believe can elevate their child to the next level, whether that's in life or the NFL.

I dont know if you can do anything with Robinson, but IMO it would be a pretty easy decision.

There has to be a title to go along with the hefty salary he is going to command. A lot of programs Will be after him

yeah Brady is going to have major issues with a RB coach who may not even really coach RBs who is going to stock Brady's offense with uber talent

You give Brady a raise upwards of $2mil, then you have two coordinators making that much. O will prob get a raise.
They going to pay Frank $1mil at that point to recruit? That will be a tough sell
LSU is going to have to lose multiple assistants, maybe reassign Ensminger to one of those spots, cut his salary.
Keep in mind E makes $800k himself.
Tommie Robinson is at $600k. He’ll need to vacate.
Wilson, 5 years ago before he left LSU, was making $680k. He’s been a HC since, and with normal inflation, is set to make much more than that, especially when other schools drive the price up.
This will be an issue cause other teams can make him 2nd or 3rd in charge & pay him to match that.
You give Brady a raise upwards of $2mil, then you have two coordinators making that much. O will prob get a raise.

you must be in a union. seriously, he will be paid by the fair market value. "inflation", or "cost of living raises" are complete BS.
Coach O is well aware that he is (somewhat) taking a pay cut in order to surround himself with the right people. Or it seems that way right now.

You're right, but his path back to another HC opportunity is excellent if he comes back to LSU. He'll win here big-time, not something many other schools can offer him.
