Watching this drill almost every back turned their hips and ran to the cone, having to change direction again to get upfield.

Fournette just plants and glides laterally keeping his hips upfield. Not only is he already facing the direction of his next cut, but he's already in motion negating the initial standstill start of the 40 yard dash that hurt his time relative to the smaller backs.

He really is a special athlete.

You can't look better than that doing that drill.

He's a stud. I wouldn't say he just glides. He seems to be constantly accelerating up until the point where you'd have to tackle him.

He wasn't digging on any of those steps after the initially plant/cut.

If you watch the others in this drill they are almost all completely turned towards the cone digging to get there. Fournette is just tip toeing with his momentum already carrying him to the cone with his hips still facing towards the endzone

IMO

No one really looked bad. Fournette's cut was different than most though, for reasons I've previously described.

No, you definitely can. Watch it 4K or even 1080p and he will look MUCH better.
