Foucha and Garner

Are they our best corners going into fall camp?

Foucha is a safety, not a corner.

I’m hoping Sevyn Banks proves to be a good pickup.

Who’s the other corner? Burns?

When is Sage Ryan going to start playing. He was a 5 star and I never hear anything about him. Anyone have any information?

Foucha is a safety and to me he is the #1 guy there.

Garner is going to surprise a lot of people at corner
I'm high on him.

As of now be is cb1

He's behind and lost currently. Needs to develop or digest the defensive scheme better.

JBC and Garner are CB1 and CB2
Banks is probably #3
Brooks at Nickel with Sage playing a few snaps every game
Foucha and Ward at safety with Burns alternating in and out

Foucha is going to be a breath of fresh air at safety.

But McGlothern was such a big loss in that “trade” with Arkansas. I get jumped every time I say this but Kelly bungled that one trying too hard to be Mr. Discipline.

McGlothern wasn’t a fair weather groupie like Ricks; he was worth some headache to keep.

I love Dwight but he’s not the player you bend the rules for. I’d gladly sacrifice Dwight McGlothern to help set the tone for your program.

We’ll see. He was our best returning cover guy by far.

That’s fine. We aren’t winning the national title this year anyway. We’ll be fine.

You can’t expect a new staff to come in and be willing to take that chance when the first thing they have to do is reboot the culture.

They gonna be solid but don’t be surprised if we suck at that position this year!

Well that kind of explains the lack of information. He was supposed to be a special player.

As you should!!!!

Kelly’s #1 objective (by far & nothing else is close) after getting hired, was changing the culture. You don’t change culture by allowing certain players to bend rules you are trying to establish. Losing any player, regardless of talent level to change and create a much better culture is ALWAYS well worth it, especially in the long run.
