Odd 12 day bump...

But he hired Canada LAST YEAR, which is still quite relative. So no, he has not one time successfully hired a good OC and let them coach...

So O's head coaching performance can't be judged against his only other head coaching performance since he was so bad he didn't get another shot until recently? That makes a ton of sense.

You are still talking about Ole Miss 2005-2007. It is 2018, I am sure that you are evaluated on your job based on the previous 6 or 12 months . Yet you clowns reference old things that fits your narrative. That's idiotic, and dumb, deal with the truth and live in the present. You guys are biased in a bad way. Has he done anything right, has he gotten better at anything, do tell.

This shite again.

If I'm hired for an executive position, fail miserably, then work in middle management for the next 10 years, then seek another executive position, don't you think my past failures in an executive position are something to at least be leery of?

So if an employee has been employed for 4 years and he's making the same mistakes that he made in year 1, even though he said he's learned from them then that wouldn't concern you?

O now has HIS QB, HIS OC, HIS recruits and HIS offensive gameplan. Time to make a championship run IMO.

yep. No excuses. Kirby smart won the sec in his second year after going 8-5. O got the best OC, a super bowl winning offensive line coach, hand picked his QB. No reason he can’t win the SEC this year

Hell yeah! And O actually has a better, more experienced QB that Kirby had last year and had a better record in his first year. That could mean the difference between just making it to the NC game and winning the NC game. Expectations are sky high this season.

He's done a lot of good things in theory. The thing is O is like a cow that makes a bucket of milk then kicks the damn thing over. I just have this unshakable feeling that he will sabotage his own work. He has done it every single year.

Yep...nobody on this board making preemptive excuses for losses can be taken seriously. It’s an auto-red flag indicating an O fan or DP alter.

Jezuss, guys... Foster was complimenting his coach.

He has been an Interim and a Head coach since then, they all hold the same responsibilities. It is not rocket science, it's coaching.

Like Pete Carroll, the NY Jets 6-10.Do you see how just going by that is. You have to consider other factors.

So he has to be perfect to please you. Are you perfect, have you ever made the same mistakes again. I think that it is important to recognise that mistake and be man enough to acknowledge it, and then correct it. Petty stuff, you just disagree with his decisions.

Ensminger interim, plus he interfered with Canada one time, one game. Stop telling lies.

LOL, no they're not. Interim Coaches have no expectations and usually ride a wave of emotion to just hold the team together. Head coaches actually have to build and sustain a program over the long term.
