I don’t care what either of them want and neither should anybody else. What exactly did either of them do to deserve any influence?

Players want the guy that was connected with their teams.

I’m sure both are being asked constantly what they think and who they want. I doubt their opinion has much weight although I’d take theirs over a guy like Rantz.

Like I said with the Skip players wanting Bianco. They should have zero input. It’s obvious they are putting their personal relationships with these guys over what’s best for LSU.

Well if he can win at ECU where you compete for recruits in a state with 4 ACC schools, and a bunch of other D1 schools in that state, not to mention all the good baseball schools in SC, it’s pretty impressive. Greenville is not at the beach either, not a great campus, or anything particularly special about the school, Godwin is already at a disadvantage. I wouldn’t hate a Godwin hire

To clarify, after moscona asked him who he wanted, he asked ranuado if anyone at lsu has asked him for his opinion. His response was “no”.

Simple logic would dictate that not giving weight to a former player's opinion to hire his old assistant coach does not equate to negatively weighting said opinion.
