Scary he was in a black hole for 11 secs.

Great article. Best wishes to him. It's a dangerous game, and things like that make you think.

LSU won that '11 game 9-6 in overtime. That week Williford had been to church back home. He made the assumption that the congregation automatically would be LSU fans.

"Everybody said, 'Roll Tide.' I about threw up in church," he said.

I would not use headline former LSU Tiger

wow, that was one very weak article. No real information given other than he was out for 11 seconds.

Once a tiger always a tiger. Wish I'm the best of luck in all of his endeavors. I've had some friends who had to walk away from the game because of too many concussions. I don't know if there's a worse feeling than the doctor saying you're done, not just for the season, but forever

I feel for Josh and hope he gets tested to rule out any long-term effects. Fortunately, it is unlikely he will have any. I don't know the particulars of his injury, but the vast majority of mild, uncomplicated head injuries such as this resolved completely from a neuropsychological standpoint within about a month. Yes, it's scary, but he will likely be fine from a cognitive standpoint.

As for the article, fairly fluff piece with little accurate information regarding concussions.

There's another beat on the drum to end football as we know it. I wish him all the best.

I must say, though, he knew the game was stronger and faster than ever. You don't start 19 games if you can't see the speed of the game.
