Format of the Coach ? Show Going Forward

Whoever the new coach is really needs to change the format of the coach's radio show. The main thing they need to do is eliminate the phone calls. The same people call every week for the purpose, not of adding anything substantive to the discussion, but of just listening to themselves talk.
The show would be a lot more enjoyable and informative if Chris Blair would ask pertinent and relevant questions about the team and the previous and upcoming games. If they want fan input, stick with the texted questions. That is how Sean Payton conducts his show. The questions should be asked in a respectful manner, but they don't all have to be softballs.
The old shows have been mostly a waste of time. I should know because I usually waste an hour out of my Wednesday nights listening to them.

Fritzie loves Coach O. She won’t bother the new Coach. And Evil Twin shows up in person. Are you gonna stop him as well?

They are far from the only two. With regard to the Evil Twin I may be in the minority here. I don’t mind him. He bats about.500. He is another one who likes to listen to himself talk but he does get off a funny line every now and then.
Big Ragoo seems like a good guy but maybe we can restrict his time by demanding an intoxolizer test before handing over the microphone.

Lock the Evil Twin out of the building.

I would make Evil Twin the show emcee. He’s earned it.

While he may be a few beers deep by the time he speaks, I’m pretty sure Rags had a stroke some years back. Def affected his speech.

That guy should be permanently muzzled.

I really have deep visceral dislike for that group of fans who act like they are part of the show.

I hear what you’re saying; but I think LSU has intended for the Coach’s Show to be more laidback. There’s only so much information you can give in a week and only so many times you can break down games.
For example, they have the Monday press conference, the Wednesday SEC teleconference, and the Thursday post-practice press conference. Plus O was doing the weekly radio appearances on Tuesday. So outside of the show, he was speaking and answering questions 4 other times and every day of the week other than Friday. Anything new you could find out in the coach’s show will already have been revealed or will be the next day.
