go to the duchess, little north of the ram but it is a old school husky bar with plenty of tvs, then you can stroll through all the tailgaters on your way to the stadium

also, what are everyones plans for after the game?

We usually don't make "after game" plans because quite often we're so damn worn out after drinking and tailgating all day that we end up doing nothing after the game unless it's just a huge win where we have no choice but to celebrate the win.

That said, if we still have energy after the game, we'll probably hit up a bar close to campus ... or taxi back to downtown and find a bar.... My best guess is we'll end up back at the W sitting around at the W Bar drinking with other LSU fans as there are quite a few Tiger fans staying at the W.

JP,

Perhaps we can meet up this time in Seattle and have a few beers. Didn't catch you in Omaha.

Arrive Seattle tomorrow, and drive to Vancouver. Back to Seattle sat. Trying to slime on to a boat. I guess I'll drive otherwise. Can you take light rail from downtown to the stadium, or at least fairly close? Back to KC on monday. Can't wait! KC.

No, the light rail only runs from around the airport to downtown Seattle. The stadium is north of that area

Did everyone get the FB invitation to the Seattle LSU alums party? Thinking we will hit that at some point, also plan to hit the Ram or Duchess during the day-want to catch UGA vs. the Cowboys somewhere-a decent test of SEC strength, although absent Stafford and Moreno, I don't know what UGA will be able to do early season.

That's what we were promised 10 years ago when we voted for the sucker, but our politicians are as useless as Huey P. Long, so no, it does not go anywhere near the stadium.

It is easy to find a quick bus from downtown to the U-District. If you don't mind walking through campus, you can find a bus very quickly & be downtown in minutes.

How did everyone's gameDay play out? I have to say the whole Seattle experience is one of the best in college football IMO.

Campus is a little lame on GameDay, but there's so much unique stuff going on on the lake etc that it makes up for it.
