It’s going to come down to the players on the field, not the coaches. I like our chances.

Yes. Harold Perkins and Bj Ojulari are more talented

I trust BK and the staff to out coach the gumps. I mean shite, if that good ole alcoholic Sarkisian and 3-4 Jimbo can keep it close with inferior talent why can’t we? To say this game will come down to players isn’t a good thing for us. Bama has much better players than we do.

Incorrect. Les was a better coach than Mike Shula.

I was told that O left the program in shambles. How can we possibly be expected to compete from a talent standpoint?

You can’t possibly know this before the game.

Saban’s been outcoached by Bama too. 31-0 in 2002 says hello

Member the 9-6 overtime game when Saban kept trying field goals that were well outside his kicker's range?

I’m optimistic too, but most would say Saban already outcoached BK a couple of times when Alabama blew out Notre Dame. Yes, I know the talent levels were different, but still those are pretty bad losses.

Stop the foolishness, if we lose all this board will say is we were out coached again.

I would not be surprised if House out-coached BOB. He isn’t on the the same planet as Kiffin or Sark and also isn’t as good as Locksley was at setting their playmakers in space and great matchups. House has shown he can adjust as well as anyone and usually gets the most out of what we have, so I think he matches up well.

The problem is more Saban vs Denbrock. With the bye week and all of the issues they had with Tennessee, I would bet he will be doing a lot more of the scheming than Golding for this one. I think the best we can hope for in this matchup is our offensive staff holding their own and that our players execute and make plays. Daniels, Goodwin and our WRs do have that ability to hit you if you give them an opening. We will need them to cash in opportunities for big plays to win this one.

Miles outcoached Saban in 2011 for sure BUT "ship '12 Miles got out coached badly.

To beat Bama you have to go in without fear and make some plays over the top of the defense. Lil nicky leaves his DB's to play free and he is always going to cover run and short pass first. Got to make plays over the top and QB runs are where Bama is open for paydirt---just got to make the plays.

From a fan’s perspective, I truly love the optimism heading into this game , but a part of me says it kind of feels like it’s way over the top. Kind of seems a bit fake and off putting for some reason.
