Like Georgia showed up last year? That was impressive and would be awesome.

There's a huge contingent of LSU fans in Texas. I wouldn't worry about LSU fans not showing up. (not saying you are)

LSU fans will be there. I guarantee it. I have a few buddies that are going to the game.

LSU will represent there.

No. Now if we go undefeated into Tuscaloosa you might see a huge turnout there but Georgia showed up big time.

Their official name is the "University of Texas at Austin." So I'm going to call them UTA. Just to bother them and you.

Don’t turn into an aglet by calling them TU; let their little brother keep calling them that. You could let them know the real UT is in Knoxville. Or just let the scoreboard do the talking and laugh on the way out.

People have been leaving Louisiana for decades to live in TX. 10K residents last year alone moved to TX.

If that’s your go to insult is calling them TU, please don’t go to the game, that’s an embarrassment to all of us

I’ve never really seen anything like what Georgia’s fan base did last year tbh. It was truly impressive, it felt like 50,000+ of them were in our stadium

ETA: also, cringe at the “tu” comment. They’ve certainly earned the right to be called University of Texas. They’re one of the best, wealthiest schools in the south. Aggy started the TU bullshite because I guess it makes them feel like the enormous gap between Texas’ and their wealth, prestige, and general success as universities isn’t quite so big? We’re not their lil bro, let them have the title that they deserve

Yes, I know. That's why it would be irritating to UT fans. Keep up.

The Georgia fan turnout in Baton Rouge was very impressive, but their number wasn’t even remotely close to 50K. More like 20K. While LSU will definitely have more than 3,800 fans in DKR, I don’t see us coming anywhere close to 20K, unless Texas fans start unloading tickets in droves. If you recall, hundreds of UGA fans only made it inside the stadium because our fans sold them their tickets.

They showed up and were thoroughly disappointed. It was wonderful! LSU will be very well repped in Austin. We go undefeated going into T Town expect more of the same.

So what if he calls them TU? We owe any loyalty to Texas? And what the frick is embarrassing about putting down the competition? News flash - it does not make one smarter, cooler or adds inches somewhere to prop up the competition and sound sincere about it even if we are not. Calling them Sips, TU, TexASS etc. not an issue whatsoever. I don't care how wealthy they are or how academically advanced they are.

TU (I like it!!!) is the enemy for one week this year and don't deserve chiitte for accolades from our fan base. Just try to be homers people. It ain't so bad Negatiger nation. Why be so miserable when deep down inside you know you were always wrong to begin with LOL?!

Yep thanks to folks just trying to turn out some bucks. Personal greed over fan loyalty. How many of those who did it would we classify as hard core Negatigers if we saw them? We know that answer...:).

I wasn’t saying don’t trash talk them.. I was saying if that’s a go to trash talk (calling them TU instead of UT)... that’s pretty fricking sad

We'll probably have 10-15k in the stadium and another 20k outside of it. The difference between the two situations is that Texas is sky high coming off of a Sugar Bowl win while morale was at a near all-time low in Baton Rouge last year going into the season. We actually released single game tickets to the Georgia game last year and Texas isn't doing that for the general public for the LSU game this year. That's where UGA fans got most of their tickets.

All of that said, we have enough fans in the state of Texas to fill DKR up with only LSU fans so it will just depend on how many Texas fans are willing to sell their tickets for some $$$.

No

No other fan base but LSU would sell all their tickets to the visitors.

Tiger Stadium is a dream for opposing fans
