anytime a Freshman pitcher hurts his arm, it is always 100% because of the high school throwing program

This is an explanation, but it’s not an explanation for why it suddenly spiked at LSU. Everything you wrote was true ten years ago - 20 even.

The real answer is luck. LSU had been very lucky for years, and suddenly it all went bad.

I disagree totally, they are bringing there issue to college regardless of how the problem happened Dunn's regimen, when an arm comes up hurt...its either skeletal, nervous or muscular...take ur pick...if 2 of the 3(muscular and skeletal) isn't caught up with one another , a break down is bound to occur.

I did read all that. And I’m inclined to believe it fully. Here’s the problem....

What you described is a tremendous amount of work and attention to detail.

From 10u-18u you might get lucky and have 1 coach who understands and cares about it. A kid is gonna have 5-6 different coaches during that time.

So it all boils down to ain’t nobody got time for that.

Why don't college coaches research the way a prospect is coached and how many times he's experienced problems before. It seems college coaches would want to avoid shutdowns, surgeries and the like to bs sure they have a solid roster of pitchers.

So why bring in "super prospects" with arm problems?

" Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world's first bionic pitcher. Better than he was before. Better, stronger, faster. "

Prob because of the time involved but without a doubt MLB is paying attention to it and trying to figure out how to cull out those who are more injured than others.

Lol CPM didn’t even know his star pitcher didn’t hit in HS. How much you think they research.
