Mardi Gras night 2009
That was an awesome atmosphere that night. Marcus Thornton went off and led us to victory. Here’s to more of the same tonight, baws!

Anyone find any highlights from that game?

I was there. I think he hit 4 or 5 3 pointers in a row. Unconscious!

Well, if you would’ve opened the link, you would’ve realized that was the pic used in the article. He did that after the big win.

I mean... he was the head coach then. And the picture was taken after the game which is the subject of this thread. I don't see the hang up.

On the hostile crowd...
quote:lol! Even back then with a sellout and scintilating play that clinched the title, the crowd 'was not that great'. well if he thought that crowd wasn't great...
“I don’t think the environment was that great. We are used to playing at Kentucky, and it’s louder. Every game we’ve lost on the road was close, and we just have to execute at the end.”

That dude is retarded. Crowd was electric that night. He’s just trying to downplay the power of the PMAC.

That was an amazing game by a truly awesome team. It was a crying shame that all the talent left after that season and Trent Johnson was left with a talent vacuum the rest of his stay at LSU.
