I've got a couple of buddies who are in BR for tomorrow's game. They are not confident about scoring tickets, but they wanted to experience an LSU tailgate and soak up some atmosphere. One is an SC fan the other one is a Domer.
Best places to get tigerbaited, fed and maybe watch the game at someone's tailgate if they fail to score tix?
Any/all advice is appreciated. Geaux Tigers.

I’ll be cooking stuffed elephant trunk. Behind the Union. They are welcome to have some. We do it big

Parking lot 206, under the oaks along the side of the field house. They welcomed about 30 Georgia fans a few weeks ago. Great Tiger fans.

I would just walk around and soak up the atmosphere. Watch the game at ivars. Tell them to look it up. Ivars sports bar. It will be a great place to watch the game with tiger fans

My pledge trainer forbid me to go there bro- he said I can only drop him and all his bros there so they can drink brews and pound chicks.. I’ve been relegated to ivars to watch the game with the common folk:(

Dude this ain’t SC or Southbend. Just tell them to walk ANYWHERE all over campus and they will see the absolute world champion standard for tailgating. If they are even moderately cool people they will be invited to join numerous tailgates. It will blow their minds.
Best Advice? Get on campus EARLY. Oh, and LSU “early” is not SC or Notre Dame “early.” LSU early for this type of game is before 8AM.

Go eat at Chimes tonight if they can (hang out at the bar theyll prob meet tailgate friends there)
Get to campus really early (as soon as they can) with their teams gear (hat or shirt). Obviously no Bama shite. Walk around campus and tell people they are visiting for the game and ask them what they are cooking. Seriously, tell them don’t be afraid to walk just walk up to tailgates. Most will offer food and drink (wanting to show off their cooking for them lol)
Game Day is setting up in the quad. From there you can go to the parade grounds and the Indian Mounds. Just walk around the tailgates.
Go line up to watch the team march down victory hill.
I’d tell them to find a tailgate with a TV setup and just watch outside if they can’t get in.

Yeah, I told them to wear team colors and buy/wear an LSU hat. Both of them want LSU to win. To be honest, unless you're a Bama fan or the President of North Korea, you probably want LSU to win this too.
Thanks for all the suggestions. I reckon they're in for a good time.
Edit: They had a blast. Loved the hospitality and tailgaiting. One got in for free when a foreign LSU student lost his buddies and just gave his ticket away. The other guy got a mid level end-zone seat after kickoff for $100.
Not happy with the final score, but they loved the experience.
