Do we know the specifics around Alleva's contract?

I think it is pretty unanimous that people want him gone, that will have to affect donations/support which is what 1/3 of his responsibilities?

Woodward is an LSU Alumni and has been a home run everywhere he has been, which includes a stop at LSU.

This needs to happen the moment that Aranda signs with A&M.

Why are you telling us this instead of his boss?

You have more faith in the people who make decisions than I do.

But why would he want to come to this shite show.

The problems run higher up than just Alleva.

Woodward seems to have free rein in college station, would have to bow to the good ole boys here

it's too late for anything meaningful to happen for LSU.

Woodward has already made his checkmate moves at A&M. He executed exactly what LSU tried in 2015, and he did so with verylittle problem or opposition.

coffee is for closers. Alleva doesn't deserve any coffee.

THIS. I feel like it's going to take a political revolution in the state to make competent people want to touch LSU again.

I don't care if it is home (it is), the entire state and the school are run terribly and will always be influenced by people who can't make good decisions. And there aren't near the resources here as A&M has, as much as it pains me to say that out loud.

If you are serious about hiring a new AD with a commitment to winning championships, you will have to replace F. King Alexander.
If you want to replace F. King Alexander, you will need to convince a BOS who appointed F. King Alexander under Gov. Jindal.
Many of the current BOS members, perhaps a majority, were appointed by Jindal and will continue in office until June, 2018. Get the current Governor to appoint VERY different people, who are committed to excellence, for these new spots. Re appoint NOBODY.

He's at a school with unlimited resources, willing to go all out to give him anything he wants. Meanwhile, LSU is making bargain basement hires while the president of the school is using manufactured fear about the football program shutting down to force the legislature to give the school more money. Woodward would be a fool to step onto the Titanic right when it's about to careen into the iceberg. Give me a break!

Why would an AD leave a university that is committed to success for a university that is not?
