That to me seems like CEO wanted them there to answer for the issues rather than himself. But yes, I feel like CEO and Alleva probably realize if they don't fix it they are all fired.

I'm glad more regional and national media types are jumping on the "holy shite did LSU really do that?" train. The more embarrassment caused, the sooner Alleva and O are shown the door

When O was hired much of the national media, rightly so, thought it was a bit of weak hire. However, some of the skepticism was assuaged when it was presented that O didn't get a huge salary and LSU was going to invest in two big-time coordinators. That sold people (who don't follow LSU as closely as we do here) on the possibility of the Ogeron idea.
Now, that it has blown up in LSU's face this season the national media started looking to see if LSU could cut ties with O after one year. In doing so they were surprised and SHOCKED to discover that LSU's imbecile of an AD guaranteed the contract to a guy who had ZERO negotiating leverage.
The national media is just now finding out what we already knew, Joe Alleva is a complete fricking idiot.

After the Duke mess, LSU was the only school in America that would make Joe Alleva its AD.
After the Ole Miss mess, LSU was the only school in America that would make Ed Orgeron its head football coach.
What a sad, pathetic group of administrators and supervisors that are in place at LSU right now. Whoever put these people in leadership roles has failed the school and the state in a huge way. Unfortunately, this is Louisiana, so the only people to suffer from this will be the fans.

Fully agree. I would lean toward O's trying to make a show that they're making progress. Actually, it's more of a sign of building panic.

Miles said on his podcast that he never met with the AD during the season, and also said that there is no way to spin that it is a good thing to meet with the AD during the season... so I aint buying it...
